OUTLANDS CORGIS
How to buy a puppy:
A Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a beautiful and intelligent dog, but with it comes the responsibility to learn about their personalities and quirks. Most Corgi have been placed in good, well-meaning homes, only to be abandoned later because they weren't what the buyer expected. As a responsible breeder I take great effort in finding a suitable home/new owner for our hand raised puppies so both the puppy and new owner have a great start, both understanding each other.
As a new owner of a Corgi, you probably would prefer to be without surprises and a Corgi puppy deserves to go to a home that will love and understand him forever. Take the time to learn about the Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed and be sure it's what you want before you put a deposit down. Everyone loves how cute Corgis are, but not everyone can live with one and the specific requirements that breed needs. I ask many questions to understand the best match for you and your puppy and the puppy app is where we start.

Step 1: Read the FAQ!
You should read this BEFORE you contact me. Yah? Yeah.
Step 2: Read the Planned Litter Page!
Step 3: Fill out the Puppy Application!
There are no right or wrong answers it just gives us a point of beginning. It helps identify misconceptions or problem areas for your situation or environment for your new puppy. It also promotes discussion and questions otherwise neglected. It helps identify your environment and the personality of the companion you require. Note here I don't say 'desire'. I find it to be two vastly things at times. Just as you don't want a crappy relationship with your family or friends, you don't want one with your dog. Picking the RIGHT pup for you is what you want and need. That's why we chat about things. I'm friendly, I promise. I only bite on Tuesdays.
Contact - At this point you may have many questions or the need for additional information that's best answered by direct contact. In fact, I'd prefer it! I like to get a feel of the people wanting my pups and I love folks who are as passionate as I am about Corgis. I ask for a questionnaire to be filled out just to break the ice and get the main questions out first but that alone isn't going to do it for me. I don't play the 'gimme money, you get puppy' nonsense. I'm picky. You want me to be picky.
Step 4: Wait for me to contact you!
This is the hard part. I know you want a puppy but I'm not making puppies for people. I'm making them for me. Puppies for you is a by-product of that. A happy one, but still secondary. I may not hurry to contact you or maybe I'll talk to you the same day. I try my best to reach out to each person and give people full consideration! So be patient and if it's been a while, give me a nudge! I don't mind at all.
Step 5: Hurry up and wait! ;)
After I approve you for my wait list and you're waiting for a pup, or you've been selected for a pup that isn't done here yet... ok maybe THAT is the hard part. But, it's a good time to learn about your baby, join my FB group and chat with other owners and get your stuff ready. It goes fast, believe me!
Step 6: Read the FAQ again while you wait! :)
Considering that most people don't read it to begin with? Now is a good time to do it again. It's like leftovers, they're better the second time around.
