Guardianship Program |
What is a guardianship program, you ask? Well... I have a small program and as such, I cannot (and will not) have oodles of dogs here. My dogs live in my house, share our beds, are our pets and so... to progress my program correctly, I need more genetic lines so I can continue to improve upon the breed I am so passionate about. That means a guardianship program! It's where I select a few excellent people to partner with me so we both get what we want. They get a free dog, I get 2-3 breedings from that dog. They care for the dog how I require (shots, upkeep, specific foods, etc) during the guardianship period and when it's breeding time, we AI mate, then the dog comes here (after properly quarantined!) and whelps her babies out. Or, if it's a male - he stays with his family and we just ship his semen over to my reproduction vet when it's time. It works out fantastically!
So, here are the dogs in my current guardianship program that I'm using right now (younger dogs aren't listed). That way if you see a name coming up as pregnant, it won't confuse you since they're not under my personal 'dog' list.

Draud has given us two lovely litters by Midas and is now retired to live out her life with her family.

Exo had her first litter (Witcher) in 2020 with Midas. Her next litter will be with Stibbons in 2021.
