Hi! We're a small program totally out of our home in Eastern Washington State. It's just the two of us here and our dogs live inside our homes, not in kennels churning out babies. We don't have a lot of dogs by choice. Our dogs are part of our family and our pets first and foremost. While this may hinder how fast we achieve our goals, we don't care. It's our passion, not a job. Our dogs come first and we wouldn't have it any other way.

We believe in producing Corgis that exhibit what they were originally made to do - be herding dogs who have tight partnerships with their family. This means excellent temperaments, intelligence, athletic ability, stamina, strength and a strong off-switch. This makes a quality pet for the family, and a dog that can be a working animal or your best friend and still strut their stuff to ribbons in the show ring.

That said, we're still working on our foundation. The old adage of 'building a house before you paint it' means something to us. I want beautiful dogs that can do more than stand pretty and trot once around a show ring while getting hand-fed treats and can't do anything else. Dogs that can stand up physically through working whether it be on cattle droving them, hiking with owners, or agility work. Fashion fades, structure remains. So, while our dogs aren't quite fashionable in quality for today's show ring, our dogs can and will do it all, with good attitudes, a real 'try' personality and won't be broken down because they're bred for a fuzzy coat and overly-short legs.

We do not breed mixes, we do not breed for color - no dilutes, no fluffies, no merles. We also don't breed for strictly conformation dogs. We want type but we're not about to lose what a Corgi was bred for - a herding dog with a tremendous ability to turn on and off and be a partner to their owners. We can't promise you a show dog, but we can promise you a wonderful companion with athleticism and a 'do' attitude.  This tends to piss off people who are strictly looking to win ribbons in a show ring. We don't care. We're not doing this for their egos. We do this for OUR passion and our purpose. :)

So, if you're looking for a strictly show animal, you won't find it here. Sorry - we're still working on that within our goals and to help preserve the Corgi as it was meant to be! If you want a great friend who can hike or drove cattle for hours, still be lovely enough to turn heads and maybe even do well in a show, then we ARE for you! If you want a purely conformation show dog? I can't help you yet. I'm happy to point you in the right direction though!

We believe in building people up within the passion of our favorite breed, not breaking them down. You should get YOUR dream.
Our puppies are sold strictly through word of mouth or on the AKC Marketplace. We do not utilize Craigslist, FB or other venues to sell our dogs. Our pups are given all advantages with early Parvovirus vaccinations, structured worming, micro-chipping and quality foods. We follow early nurturing techniques and utilize both early puppy temperament milestones to give our babies the best start they can have and Volhard Puppy Temperament Assessments before they are placed! We don't want you to have an ornamental dog with a crappy temperament when we can be sure we're making that amazing companion we all want in our own home!

Outlands Stella For Star doing what she was bred to do! HERD!
Here's her highlights reel for her first Ranch Dog competition!
Her owner said of her:
"Stella won her first ever Ranch Dog class today (AHBA HRDI-s) out of 10 competitors. It was challenging but fun. Multiple fields, three pens, and three sets of sheep."

Stella finished her AKC Started title for A course sheep today on the way to Reserve High In Trial. She tied for High but lost on the tie breaker.

HUGE GRATS to Lauren and Willow for being the FIRST DMWYD Triple Crown Winner!!!

Quill was born perfectly fine, but ended up getting his eyes licked open early and they got infected. So Quill is mostly blind! However, that doesn't hold him back and he loves Barn Hunt with his mom Alyssa and his buddy Maslow!

I've so stoked for this 3rd generation pup from our program! His momma has a tail line to my beloved Goose and is a full sister to the mother of Maze and Ivee!

A Pembroke is not always the best Corgi for someone. When that happens, I recommend a Cardigan!
So, if you're looking for a quality Cardigan Welsh Corgi please contact Kahukura Cardigan Welsh Corgis!  Eth is a new breeder of Cardigans and is titling his dogs in conformation, temperament, and a lot more. Eth is also an amazing groomer in the Seattle area and is the primary groomer for Benny and his soon to be conformation showing puppies! He knows how to make a Corgi look amazing!
