Puppydoo pics tomorrow once Meg comes home (she had to work through her normal days off thanks to the holiday). The battle loaves will be 6 weeks shortly and soon we'll be having the talk about the Moses Lake Meet Up!
The pups are all hitting their milestones and most are done nursing. Saryn is still the only hold out, really wanting momma and not entirely handling the dry solids as well as I would like to see. She'd rather nurse than crunch. Does great on wet food, but still prefers nursing. The rest couldn't care less if Goose is there or not. If weaning amounted to the ability to feed oneself, they'd be weaned. But, they have a while to go yet before they're ready.
Several aren't quite willing to give up their biting on siblings, so bite inhibition is something they're continuing to work on (with siblings lol). They're just having too much fun being bad (eyes Nezha and Oberon) to their sisters. Saryn will start fights and then shriek when they retaliate. She's the smallest outside of Ash but Ash is very on par with the group whereas Saryn is still a needy mommas girl lol. There's always one. She'll snap out of it all of a sudden and be little miss independent anytime now, Inaros gets miffed when his sleeping is disturbed, Atlas is the biggest and knows it. Nezha... well. He just knows he's too cute for words. Wisp and Ivara are besties, and joined at the hip and both are out to get Atlas, which is amusing. Atlas lets them pounce and attack him and just gives that happy Midas grin before he tramples them into dust. LOL Good times!
Shots on Wednesday! They've had 2 wormings so far, and will have their next tomorrow. No worms floating in fecals, and all poops are solid and look great. They did have a bout of loose stools after the last worming, so I expect to see it after this one too. Wormer is harsh on baby tummies at this age since I'm using Panacur versus the 'baby wormer' Nemex-2. There's ya update! :)
Remember my group page on Facebook has a lot more updates and videos that are problematic to post here. Including individual videos. Please do join the group and get included in the madness. :)

Pups are doing fabulously! Meeting their milestones very nicely!
Puptatos are doing great this morning! They're eating wet food twice a day, they're eating dry food in between and are nursing about twice a day now. The suckers really prefer solids to milk. I swear, this litter!! Warriors! Playing happily and got wormed yesterday (first worming was 2 weeks old). Soft poops today because of it, but that's not uncommon, especially when they're now digesting solids and nursing. I'm letting them spend the day without bothering them too much. Both because I'm working with Stibbons and because their bodies need to be under less stress from the worming. Tomorrow it all starts up again for them!
One more week and they get the first of the Neopar shots. Mom's immunity lasts between 3 weeks to 10 weeks, with the majority of the immunity lasting to about the 5th week of age before it wears off. I like to slide in with Neopar at week 5. Neopar doesn't affect the mother's immunity, but if they're already covered by mom, giving it is meaningless.
Individual pics on Monday (when Meg's off).
They're getting very cute... and fighty! Pics are up in the albums! They've had their first foods, then turned into hobbits needing first breakfast, second breakfast...
No props, unfortunately. They are doing fantastic! A couple are a bit smaller than their litter mates so we're giving them some special one on one time with momma, assuring they're not being pushed off teats by their bigger, bossier sibs! Eyes are open, ears are open, and they're starting to bark, howl and play. They enjoy human touch and settle nicely for pets and snuggles. Very brave potatoes so far.
The 2 week pics are in their folders!
