Wow, it's been a ride with these guys. Very strong, independent puppies. Very sassy and happy boys (and Tali) and ...well, there's Ivee. She's a force to be reckoned with! LOL I believe Ivee stole all her siblings attitude and kept it for herself. Loving, fun but what a bossy girl! ;)
Puppies are bathed, microchips are in, final wormings finished up, puppy packs made... today is full of snuggles and trying not to cry lol.
I'll see all but 1 of you tomorrow. Be careful driving over the pass!
For those going to the Moses Lake meeting, I'll be there at 10am. I need to get back to Spokane area pretty early that day for another drop off so while I hate to rush ya'll, I do need everyone to be there around 10am. If this presents a problem, get with me asap. Remember the location is Shari's on Kittleson Rd.
Remember to bring a blanket to wrap your pup up with. It'll be chilly outside and possibly rainy. Heck, it might even be snowy!! So keep watch on the pass! You should also bring a carrier for the pup if you aren't planning to hold the pup the entire way home. Fair warning, some pups get car sick and will foam or vomit on your car seats. This is normal, but be prepared for it. I suggest bringing along a towel just in case. You also need to bring a small dish for water. Food isn't required for the trip home, but your pup will be thirsty. A small bowl will be useful to dip his muzzle in to get some water from or to outright drink if he's thirsty. You want a hydrated pup and believe it or not, they can get dehydrated in a few hours when stressed and panting.
For the other deliveries, I'll be emailing you directly on times. Wow, one more week and all the potatoes will be home!
Everyone had baths today! All were good pups (*eyes Ivee*) ...mostly. lol. The best was Garrus who happily stood still and lifted his paws to be washed. Javik thought the water was acid but didn't try and get away, Shepard whined a bit but stood for it, Tali wiggled but handled it... and Ivee - well, Ivee fought the water with great enjoyment. lol Ivee's a warrior.
Here's a video during puppy pen cleaning before the bathing began. Meg sacrificed herself for your enjoyment.
And here we go! Thanks to Cougar Wireless for finally allowing me to have workable net. It's fantastic to see faster speeds... sadly this comes at the end of the potatoes time with me. Alas.
So check your pup's pages! Next week is the last time I'll take these pics and then you all will have to take some for me! :)
So no more updates ;). If you want to catch up with how pups are doing - please feel free to join the Outlands Corgis FB page and keep an eye on the goings on there! You'll see updates from owners of my pups as well as random stuff I post about my parent dogs or anything else that seems cool and Corgi. That said...
Now it's time to move on to the Mass Effect litter and their departure dates! Can you believe it??
I know a few of you already have specific dates set up because you're flying in or local to me but for those outside of the area, I will be doing another Moses Lake Meet Up (same location, it worked well!) and we're sussing out dates. Right now it seems before or after T-Day. 17th or the 24th. Whatcha think?
Pictures tomorrow! It's been a tiring week for us and the ME litter. They're not sure why puppies keep disappearing on them and are confused as can be. We're taking today to settle them down and just spend time reassuring them without adding any pressure of sitting still for photos.
Sadly my T-Day backdrop hasn't arrived sooo... want a fall one or Xmas? It can be like all the stores! Xmas stuff goes up about now anyway, right? ;)
Remember tomorrow is the Moses Lake meet up! We're planning to be there a bit before noon and hoping you all plan for that time as well! We'll stay as long as necessary but would very much like to get back home (and to the ME litter) as soon as possible.
The location is Shari's Restaurant (back of the parking lot if possible) at 1820 Kittelson Rd, Moses Lake, WA 98837.
Please take a moment and verify you'll be coming and about what time. If all of you want it a bit sooner than noon, let me know tonight and we can leave a bit earlier.
