And lastly for this day!

All pups were successfully vaccinated with the NeoVac DA2 this week (NeoPar is next week) and will be wormed with Safeguard for the first time in a few days. No more Nemex2 for them! They're on the adult treatment now! I expect they'll all be fine.  I'll let you know if they react to either the shots or the wormer.

They're entirely weaned off momma now. She is even starting to dry up a bit. A few will whine for comfort nursing still but that only lasts a few seconds before they're off playing. They really have no interest in her for the most part and she ignores them unless they have food she wants. ;)  This is all normal and on schedule for a bitch weaning her pups.

They're all 100% litter box trained and have zero issues with accidents now. For those doing litter box training, Yesterday's News is the best stuff to use, in a decent size pan and then transition them to go in the pan outside until they're going outside 100% of the time.

They're all used to kenneling and penning up at night. They've figured out that it's pretty much nap time in kennels and it doesn't bother them at all. These are wire kennels and we'll be going over the actual travel kennels this next week to get them used to solid sided kennels for airline flight in cabin so they're not whining the entire time.

They're all growing like weeds and this week has a marked growth spurt as they've moved from mom and puppy mush to more solid wet foods and solids like kibble. They really love kibble as it feels good on the teeth. This will show the biggest growth surge since the first two weeks, since they're eating everything in sight and building their muscles with more rough-housing.

They all had baths this week with Burt's Bees puppy shampoo and their fur was conditioned with Ice on Ice conditioner. They were groomed with a slicker, blow-dried with a professional blower and had their nails trimmed. Everyone was great except Thierry who wanted to challenge the blower to a battle and didn't take 'no' for an answer. ;)
