When I made this website a few years ago I wanted something very simplistic and understandable to explain basic color genetics in Corgis. I tend to get complicated and to be honest, I found a page of info that I thought was well done. It was on a free site so I couldn't give credit and here's where I was bad: I didn't check it in advance of posting it up with my own little illustrations. I soon forgot about it and then in 2020 I found out that I had stolen someone's intellectual property. I swiftly removed it from my site. As an artist, I know the frustrations of people using my work.
But, I didn't remove all the links. I forgot one page that I thought I had as unclickable and the links were still active there. Once again, I messed up. So, I formally wish to apologize to Juliana du Pree for snatching her work and not giving her credit. It wasn't intentional and I fully accept that I'm 100% at fault here. I feel ashamed and embarrassed and ask her forgiveness for the frustration and anger I caused. She did not deserve this and I am so very sorry. I have no excuse other than my own laziness in not following up with checking in advance.
From now on, even when rushing or tired or any other excuse, I shall make very certain that if I utilize someone else's work, it will either be accredited, permitted and if I cannot find who wrote it, I simply will not use it.
I'm very sorry Juliana. I truly am.
