I've been yearning to get a son from this boy's dad for a while. He has the lines I really wanted for progressing into the show ring. I love the 'do it' working lines, but I want the 'do' with a strong typey look that is undeniably Corgi. Benny was purchased for his genetics to blend with our working lines, but we plan on promoting this fellow in the conformation ring and finishing him. We'll also be putting a few other titles on him as we go in scent work, ATTS, and hopefully Rally.
Benny is shown by his co-owner Sheri Marsall. Let's wish her the best of luck. It takes a lot to get the courage up to put yourself into the public scrutiny arena and dog shows are notorious for being cliquey and to be blunt; mean. Not all, but enough people bashing you down will get to you and make you not even want to try. That's never a good idea for the promotion of our breed. Be the difference you want to see. Sheri has ALL my love and hopes for great things to befall them. Benny too. Though with Benny, a snuggle and a victory cheeseburger would be the best win ever. What does he care about ribbons?
So come out and join Team Benny and cheer them all on!
